Congratulations to our Blushing Bride!
Amy Bonner of Piedmont Hospital was married to Greg Jones, Lowe’s Home Improvement, on November 12, 2011 at a private home in Blue Ridge, Georgia. An intimate group of family and friends gathered for an outdoor, sunset ceremony overlooking the Appalachian Mountains. The welcome reception provided guests with Mountain Berry Sangria and live Spanish guitar music. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed an Italian buffet, football, dancing, karaoke, and a dessert buffet for chocolate lovers. “Thank you to my ISES friends who made our wedding so wonderful: Jeff Gaines, Blake Weiderstein, Jeff Terry, Jill Korizon and Lee Stepancik.” Photography was provided by Jeff Gaines Photography and rentals, by Peachtree Tents & Events. A non-traditional red-velvet cake with dark chocolate frosting in the form of an autumn tree with the couple’s carved initials was designed by Kristie of Scratch Cakes. The couple won their wedding cake in a drawing at the Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta last fall.
Amy is the ISES Greater Atlanta Chapter Immediate Past President. Her contact information at Piedmont has not changed, however her new name is Amy Bonner-Jones.

Check out what Lisa Hurley, Editor of Special Events Magazine, has to say about the Greater Atlanta Chapter!
“ISES Eventworld 2011 has provided such amazing affirmation for the power of special events to build brands and achieve business goals.
I sat in on sessions with leaders such as David Rich of George P. Johnson and Richard Foulkes of Imagination–both big-time companies with blockbuster clients.
I had to chuckle at another example of branding I saw at Eventworld yesterday.
To honor Atlanta’s Terry Singleton, CSEP, who was sworn in yesterday as 2011-12 ISES international president, the Greater Atlanta chapter sat at the annual meeting in matching pink t-shirts printed with the slogan, “Got Terry? We do!”
A nice bit of branding that I won’t forget!” (by Lisa Hurley August 6th, 2011)
